How I work

I usually start by trying to understand the people involved and what is actually happening before I decide what to make. I want to understand how they think, what they need and even how they might use the product in the wrong way. Then I make things, test them, realise something doesn't work, change it and do it again. I care about how something looks, but not enough to make it less comfortable or less useful. I'd much rather have a slightly strange object that works properly than a beautiful object that doesn't.

Let's talk

Have a project, a question or a half formed idea? Get in touch. I like talking about how things work, why they don't work and what we could make instead.
